Blood transfusion

This experience is available in 360 video. A young woman, hospitalized for the reduction of an open tibia fracture, lost a significant amount of blood during surgery, resulting in anemia confirmed by blood tests. Her doctor prescribed a transfusion of packed red blood cells, with a cross-group performed preoperatively. The nurse administered the transfusion while the patient received a 75 ml/h NaCl infusion on a pump.
